TOPIC 6: WRITE ABOUT PERSONAL DRESS CODE
The dress code is an integral part of human culture. It reflects different personalities, circumstances, and occasions. Dress codes vary from formal, casual, formal and conservative to liberal depending on the experience and environment. For example, when I go to the movies or hang out with friends, I dress quite casually and comfortably. I usually wear a T-shirt and jeans and casual shoes. It makes me feel relaxed and helps me enjoy time with friends. However, this style of dress will not be appropriate if I attend a wedding or funeral. When attending a formal event, I usually wear a suit, tie and oxford shoes to look more formal and professional.
At school, the dress code is quite different. Regular students are required to wear their school uniform on a rather formal Monday. This dress code makes students look disciplined and professional. When I wear the school uniform, I feel part of the school and it gives me a sense of belonging.
There are some clothes I never wear, and some colors I don't like to wear. For example, I avoid wearing very bright colors, especially red, as they tend to attract too much attention, I prefer to wear neutral colors like black, gray, navy, or white. These colors make me feel comfortable and stylish.
I mainly buy clothes from regular stores. Whenever I need new clothes, I like to go to the mall and spend time trying on different outfits. I want to see them look and feel and I want to make sure they are right for me before I buy them. I prefer this method to buying clothes online because I cannot see or touch the clothes.
In short, the dress code is an integral part of the culture. They reflect the personalities of individuals and the occasion they are attending. Wearing the right clothes can make a person feel comfortable and confident, while the wrong clothes can make one feel awkward and out of place. Therefore, it is important to carefully review the dress code before attending an event.
